Stephen began his career in the British military finishing as the highest rated Aircraft Electrical Engineering Junior NCO with the Royal Air Force. He simultaneously managed 3 teams of Aircraft Technicians during 13 deep strip servicing’s of military fast jets without fault during their flight tests. During his deployment in Saudi Arabia he also has the unique distinction of founding their first ever Trade Union.

His responsibilities as Quality Supervisor include maintenance of Logics ISO
9001Certification, ensuring customer satisfaction, evaluation and monitoring of suppliers and Calibrating the company’s NDT equipment to NIST Standards. As the Technical Lead for Logic’s ISO Certification, he achieved recertification without corrective action while upgrading from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.

Two values that describe Stephen are Honesty and Integrity. He is very honest and can be relied upon as demonstrated by the positions of trust he has achieved throughout his career and his integrity is evidenced through his attention to detail when completing tasks. This aligns with Logic NDT Solutions core values of Honesty, Integrity, Passion.

Stephen is married with 2 teenage children which require his dedication and to which he happily focuses his free time. He also enjoys DIY projects and History which he would describe as his passions.

Rob Brown is the Technical Supervisor at our Nisku location where his duties include, assignment of staff to individual clientele, training of Inspectors and laborers on technical requirements and maintaining monthly inventory. He is also an integral asset as a liaison with our off-site clients where his duties require him to visit various client locations to monitor our
adherence to Logic’s Policies and Procedures and maintain our highest level of customer satisfaction.

Robs’ belief in our guiding principals of Honesty, Integrity and Passion have guided him as an employee for over 8 years to date where he has progressed from laborer to Inspector to Lead to his current role.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys playing softball in the summer months and competing in hockey during the winter.

Dax Sharkey

With a diverse career spanning over 30 years in the Oil & Gas and Agriculture industries, Dax Sharkey’s journey has been nothing short of adventurous. Having traversed five of the seven continents, Dax mastered diverse roles and excelled in multiple endeavors.

His professional voyage began in the heart of Oil & Gas in Alberta, where he honed his skills and expertise in directional drilling and completion operations. Over the years, Dax worked for major service companies, using his dedication and commitment to propel him to the forefront of excellence. Dax held many significant roles, including Business Development, Operations Manager, and Director, each challenging him to push boundaries and redefine industry standards. His success is a testament to his relentless pursuit of knowledge and commitment to delivering results.

Dax’s educational journey had been equally diverse. He holds two technical diplomas in Marine Mechanics and Agronomy, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and multifaceted skill set spanning technical expertise and acumen. Beyond the operational sites, Dax continually seeks new horizons and opportunities for growth.

Dax Sharkey’s passion for adventure is matched only by his commitment to a healthy lifestyle. As an advocate for mental health and charitable foundations, such as BC-Alberta Guide Dogs and Easter Seals, he is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dax likes to keep busy with different activities. Whether it’s teeing off on the golf course, hitting the ice for a game of hockey, mastering the art of pickleball, or conquering mountain trails, he embraces life with energy and enthusiasm. Dax’s journey has been one of relentless pursuit, unwavering commitment, and boundless passion. Robert Gilmour has over 22 years of oilfield industry experience, including 8 years of international work in South America. He has been involved in setting up service companies in South America and North America in non-destructive testing, downhole tool rentals or drilling motors, drilling jars, drilling specialty tools, and other drilling equipment. He has also been successful in setting up service facilities in South America and North America that are still currently running in today’s market for other organizations.

Robert’s career started in 1997, working for a non-destructive testing company called UNI-SPEC Inspection Services. In 2 years, he worked his way up to Division Supervisor and was responsible for setting up and managing their South American division in Venezuela in 1999. At 23 years old, he was managing the Venezuelan and Colombian facilities for UNISPEC and began expanding into the Ecuadorian and Mexican markets. In only 5 years he had set up functioning and successful organizations in 4 Latin American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. At 28 years old he decided to get his AAB (Associate Arts of Business) degree with the University of Phoenix while managing South America operations. In 3 years he attained his degree before moving back in 2006 to Canada with aspirations to start his own non-destructive testing company. In 2009, Logic NDT Solutions was born, and Mr. Gilmour alongside his pro-active team took LOGIC to 75% market share in the Canadian inspection market in the first 5 years. LOGIC is still current, reputable, and profitable, and will continue to be thanks to the dedicated team behind it!

Meet Dave Winnicky, a seasoned professional and an asset to Logic NDT Solutions as a Sales Representative. With an impressive career journey that spans continents and sectors, Dave brings valuable expertise and insights to our team.

Dave’s post-college travels led him into the dynamic world of Oil & Gas, where he spent 3 years in Milano, Italy, and 6 1/2 years in the United Kingdom. His career took him even further South, spending valuable time in Tripoli, Libya and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With each experience adding depth to his knowledge and understanding of the industry. Throughout his career, Dave shouldered various responsibilities, from managing districts to excelling in sales roles. His ability to navigate complex landscapes and build strong relationships became a hallmark of his professional journey. Eventually, Dave spent an impressive 15 years with Schlumberger, further honing his skills.

Mr.Winnicky’s role as a well-supervisor during his consulting years showcased his commitment to overseeing operations with precision and excellence. His experience spanned from Downhole Tools to Rigs, and everything in-between. Dave’s rich history of industry knowledge and hands-on experience seamlessly merged with LOGIC’s team. As a Sales Representative, he is essential for fostering relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

Dave’s long journey in the industry and his multidisciplinary expertise have made him an integral part of the LOGIC team. His well-rounded perspective further enriches the team’s dynamic. With a career spanning 17 years in the oil and gas industry, Eric McDonald brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Logic NDT Solutions. Eric’s journey into Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) began at the young age of 17 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

His early career saw him conducting Magnetic Particle Inspections (MPI) during shutdowns in power plant boilers. This early exposure laid the foundation for his enduring passion for NDT. In 2006, Eric moved to Alberta, where he joined another Inspection company. During his time there, Eric honed his skills and gained invaluable experience, solidifying his reputation as a trusted professional.

Not one to shy away from challenges, Eric ventured into drilling rigs for 3 years, broadening his industry perspective. However, his heart remained firmly in inspection, and he returned with renewed vigor to further his career in this specialization.

Throughout his career, Eric collaborated with various inspection companies, absorbing diverse insights and approaches. This collective experience, spanning nearly 2 decades, has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of NDT methodologies and best practices. Eric’s commitment to excellence and continuous learning is what sets him apart.

Joel O’Hanley

Calgary Operations Manager

Joel O’Hanley is the Operations Supervisor for the Calgary division of Logic NDT Solutions. His responsibilities require him to devote his time to training the Calgary staff, planning and conducting day-to-day operations, and maintaining our excellent customer relations.

With his 12 years of experience in the inspection industry, Joel has seen many ups and downs and has grown with Logic NDT Solutions. Starting as an inspection trainee, he worked hard and dedicated himself, earning the leadership role he holds today. He firmly believes in Logic NDT’s principles of Honesty, Integrity, and Passion, but also that hard work and a willingness to improve can make you a better person and leader.

Joel, who originally moved from Prince Edward Island to Alberta in 2007, now resides in Airdrie with his wife and their two boys. When he isn’t working, you can find Joel in the great outdoors where he enjoys fishing and spending time with friends and family.

As 360i’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrea is a key member of the agency’s executive team, responsible for driving growth and efficiency across all capabilities and clients. She has earned a reputation in the industry for her ability to tackle complex challenges with an exceptionally high standard of integrity, and in close partnership with her teammates and clients.

Andrea joined 360i from Red Fuse, a WPP agency that integrates multiple companies and capabilities to service one of the network’s largest global clients. As a founding member and Chief Operating Officer at Red Fuse, Andrea was instrumental to the construction and evolution of the company and played a leadership role in areas including client contracts and contractual compliance, finance, reporting, delivery, project management, production and information technology.

Andrea was part of WPP for nearly 20 years, having joined Y&R from its Colombian subsidiary in 2000 before moving to New York in 2002. During the first half of her career with WPP, Andrea held varying local, regional and global roles in Account Management and Client Finance. In 2009, upon receiving her MBA from Columbia Business School, Andrea formally made the move into Operations.
